Blue Monday/Blue Porcelain Plate

I just love blue! It's my absolutely favorite color. Each week, Sally at Smiling Sally hosts this fun event.
I don't have as much to share this week as I have the last couple weeks. I've been feeling really under the weather with a bad cold and cough, and just generally achey. I'll be fine to go to work tomorrow, but just wanted to spend a lot of time catching up on sleep this weekend.

What I do have to share is a beautiful porcelain plate. I've had this plate for several years, but have no recollection of where I bought it, but it was probably in an antique or thrift store. It's the only porcelain plate I own that is mostly blue. At the old house, it sat on a shelf under a picture which featured a lot of blue. Eventually, it will find a place on the wall here at this house!

It's embarrassing to admit, but there is a room in my house that is still full of boxes and not yet put together. That's where my plate has been sitting in a box for a very long time. I have to get it sorted through and put together soon though, because it is going to be my formal living room and my daughter wants to get married there this December! Oh my God. There is a whole lot more to that story, but I'll post more in the next few days.

As for right now, I'm heading for bed. Tomorrow is a long day!
