It's Blue Monday yet again! This week I wanted to show off some potholders I had purchased many years ago. I don't know where I got them, but probably at a craft fair. I just loved these Susan Winget designs! These just say "home" to me! Also, at the time I bought these, I was living in a blue house.
In a previous post, I used some Susan Winget fabric as a backdrop.
For those who have never heard of Susan Winget, she is a designer who is an incredible artist. I first noticed her work probably in the early '90s. I have collected her fabric, her crafts, her wallpaper, and borders for my old house. She has so many products that it's hard to keep up with all she creates, including calendars, stationary, dishware, ornaments...basically whatever you can think of, she has a product with her art on it!
I found these images in Google. Here is a wonderful mailbox cover with some patriot red, white and blue! I have seen this before and didn't realize it was her work. I am thinking about getting this for my mailbox!
Here is another example of her art for Christmas! Aren't these the cutest Santas?
At my old house, I had a kitchen with blue counters, and her wallpaper, by the way. I so badly wanted this cannister set! It would have been perfect.
Please check out the work of Susan Winget on her website. I also found out while creating this post that she is a blogger right here in Blogspot! You can find her here! I'm certainly going to pay her a visit, and I hope you do too!
Oh, and to those of you who love roosters, and I know you are many, she has some wonderful creations for you!
