For this week's Pink Saturday, I decided to share this pretty teapot I got almost 2 years ago at a thrift shop for only $8. I suspect that it used to have a lid a long time ago. Anyhow, at that price, I wasn't letting it go because I thought it was so pretty.
Here is the back side of it. Wish my backside looked so beautiful!
I don't know if this teapot is anything of worth. I haven't heard anything about the company that made the teapot.
I will have to put this to good use someday, what with my new teacup and other pretty gifts!
I'll post answers to your questions starting tomorrow. Have a great Pink Saturday, and check out the other participants at Bev's blog How Sweet the Sound.
That is a pretty teapot. I don't know enough to know what the labels mean. I still like it anyway and that is what counts, right? Happy Pink Saturday!
ReplyDeleteThat is a super teapot. I think that looks like REAL gold trim. Happy Pink Day!
ReplyDeleteVery delicate and pretty. It would look lovely dispensing my coca cola into a fancy cup!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful teapot. This one is so special. Happy Pink Saturday. Karen
ReplyDeleteBeautiful teapot! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteI love all the gold on the teapot. It would make a great vase, or a holder for tall crafting tools like paintbrushes.
ReplyDeleteI have a collection of Lefton china. It is lovely. These pieces, at least in the green which is what I collect, are quite pricey. If you can find yourself a discarded Lefton lid, you've got yourself quite a find. They do sell these on ebay occassionally. If you can't find one, it would certainly look pretty with flowers in it! Happy Pink Saturday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l teapot! You find the loveliest things!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday and have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your answered questions.
I'm worried about all of the new drugs and such coming into the schools... young kids getting hooked on stuff, so sad.
Way to go on the weight loss! It's gotten too cold for me to walk outside too, brrrr...
At least you're doing the Y, I just stopped walking, ;P
Kady...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit.
I found this Lefton Tea Pot on eBay, here is the LINK;

Very pretty! There's a Lefton Collector's website at http://www.leftoncollectables.com and replacements.com stocks this pattern as well, but they don't have the coffee pot lid (by itself) in stock at the moment. They do have it listed, through, and you can click the link that asks them to look for one.
