Pink Saturday/ 200th Post Giveaway!

Sorry this post is up late...computer issues!

I am so excited about this week's Pink Saturday because this is also my 200th post! Who knew I had so much to say and share? I've been blogging since late April 2008, and time has surely flown.

Let's get right down to it! I am actually having two giveaways, the first for this cute pink stand.

I created it from a candlestick and covered cheese board I found at Goodwill. I painted the cheeseboard a pink to match the pink stripes on the candlestick, but the color is a bit more intense on the board.

I have so much fun making these, but think this one is the most unique that I have created so far. I think it has a Mackenzie-Childs feel to it.

The second giveaway is for this Mitford cookbook. I have read about how other bloggers just love the Mitford books by Jan Karone. I have not read them myself, but people like them because of the Christian theme. This cookbook is based on recipes that characters from her books have cooked. Some of the recipes sound really good!

So if you want to be included in my giveaways, leave a comment on THIS POST and tell me if you would like to be in the drawing for the pink stand, the book, or both. You can get a second entry by becoming a follower of my blog, or if you are already a follower. Please remind me if you are! You do not have to have a blog of your own to win one of these, but you will need to leave me your email addy so I can contact you.

I will leave this drawing open until 8 a.m. Eastern daylight time next Saturday, August 29. I will also include a small jar candle from Swan Creek Candle Company in each giveaway. They are so fragrant.

Good luck!

Oh, and don't forget to visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound to see a list of all other Pink Saturday participants!

  3. I love both! But I will save the cute cake stand for people who have more pink in their home. You did an awesome job on that. I am now realizing I could make one and use colors to go with my home. Thanks for the idea.

However you can enter me in the drawing for the Jan Karon cookbook. I have read her books and love them. And a reminder, I am a follower too!

    Happy Pink Saturday!
