See that dark pink table?
Here was my desk. I always had a pink box of tissues on top. I also had my mousepad that I had made at Walmart featuring one of my pink roses. It made me smile every time I looked at it.
Above my desk was a picture featuring French words and these beautiful pink roses! This picture now hangs in my new bedroom. I got this picture a few years ago at a Welcome Home outlet store for only about $25.
I added a couple more pictures above the seating area. I carried over my Paris theme. This is a painting of a flower shop. I got these pictures at Pamida for only $6 a piece!
I loved this picture in particular because it showed a typical Paris street with the Eiffel Tower in the background. See the pink tables in the cafe? You can't tell from the pictures, but my office walls were a soft green and these pictures were perfect.
I wanted to add a little whimsy for the children that sometimes accompanied my clients. Here is a pink teddy bear that I bought. The money benefitted the Susan G. Komen breast cancer awareness fund. A co-worker's daughter was quite enchanted with my bear and named her Rosy Cuddly. I had some pink potpourri in the white tin to make the office smell good.
When I first spotted this plaque, I couldn't resist it! I love the angel and little pink flowers.
Okay, these aren't pink, but I love hydrangeas. However, there were no windows in my office, so I had to make do with fake flowers. These were half price at WalMart!
I thought that my office was a pleasant and comfortable area for my clients, and I was able to keep it feminine at the same time.
I sort of miss it!
