Pink Saturday #4 - Painted Porcelain Plate

For this week's Pink Saturday, I wanted to share my favorite pink porcelain plate! It hangs on the wall in my bedroom. Thank goodness I don't have this posted on RMS because I am sure someone would have to say, "Plates don't belong in the bedroom." I think that if you like it there, they do!

I'm not sure where I bought this plate, but it might have been in the local antique shop right downtown! All I know is that when I saw it, I had to have it! I can't recall what I paid for it, but I'm sure it was under $20. I just love the combination of the pink and the moss green, and those beautiful pink roses! It looks pretty good against my light green wall.

If you want to check out more Pink Saturday posts, just visit our hostess Bev at How Sweet the Sound for a list of others participating in this weekly event.

Today's post is short and sweet. I got home late from watching my son and others play for open mic night at the coffee shop, and I have big plans for tomorrow which I hope to be sharing on Sunday.

And on Tuesday, my son comes home from Texas! Woohoo!

Have a great weekend!

Hi, Kady! Your plate is simply beautiful! I reminds me of some German hand-painted porcelain my grandmother had. I think plates look lovely hanging in a bedroom--especially as they can coordinate so well with color schemes. Your blog is a happy place--nice to meet you! :o)

I guess we're thinking along the same lines. I snapped a couple bathroom shots myself today. It's getting to be fun, isn't it?
Be a sweetie,
